Tunisia: Phosphate industry remains at a standstill

As previously reported, the Tunisian phosphate industry remains at a standstill, having been brought to its knees by a series of strikes and sit-ins since December last year. There is no change to the situation in Tunisia's phosphate industry apart from a return to work on May 12 by some administrative staff at CPG's offices. The extraction, production and transport of rock remains suspended. Operations at virtually all of GCT's units are also suspended until phosphate rock supplies can be resumed.
