North Africa, the Middle East and China are the key players again this week as the protracted nature of third quarter contract talks dominate the market. With no real tangible sign of conclusion, a lot of misinformation is spreading, which only serves to muddy the waters further. Saudi Aramco confirmed the sale this week of three cargoes ex-Jubail into China at $210/mt FOB, which had been reported previously as $218/mt CFR.
