OCP to raise $244m in maiden bond

MOROCCO’S OCP plans to raise MAD 2 billion ($244million) in its first ever bond issue that may take place laterthis year, according to local press, quoting an official fromthe phosphates company. The official said OCP wants todiversify and optimise sources of financing to help fund itsmajor investment programme (FW Online, December 3,2010). The company, however, had not responded toFERTILIZER WEEK enquiries by press time.
