ICL, Haifa Chemicals continue dispute

Tel Aviv—Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL) and Haifa Chemicals continue to be at loggerheads. ICL has asked David Gilo, Israel's Antitrust Commissioner, to declare Haifa a monopoly in the field of supply of potassium nitrate for agricultural and industrial use in Israel. ICL has requested that the commissioner use his powers to guarantee that Haifa cease using its monopolistic position in the market.
