K+S 3Q Pot/Mag income off; company will not hit K sales target

K+S Group reported third-quarter Potash/Magnesium EBIT was down 16.5 percent, to ?92.5 million on revenues of ?471.4 million, compared to the year-ago ?110.8 million and ?451 million, respectively. Salt EBIT was up 74.9 percent, to ?43.2 million from ?24.7 million, which helped put company-wide EBIT at ?132.1 million, almost level with the year-ago ?134 million. Group earnings from continued operations were ?89.2 million on revenues of ?891.4 million, up from the year-ago ?76.3 million and ?826.9 million.
