Helm to provide dry fertilizer out of Theodore, Ala.; hires Industry veteran to market product

Helm Fertilizer Corp., Tampa, reports that in September it will begin using a new 40,000 st dry storage facility at Millard Maritime in Theodore, Ala. Helm has a long-term lease at the facility, which was constructed for its use by Millard. Helm plans to put major dry products at the site — urea, phosphates, potash, and ammonium sulfate. Helm initially revealed plans for the dry facility in late 2013 (GM Dec. 9,2013). The facility can access ocean-going vessels and is on the CSX railroad.
