Sexual Offenders. Personal Construct Theory and Deviant Sexual Behaviour

Although I have a special interest in the assessment and treatment of sex offenders,I am not a psychologist and, as an undergraduate and postgraduate student,I struggled to gain any real understanding, from the one-page synopsis in standard psychology texts, of personal construct theory or repertory grids. So I approached this book as someone who, hopefully, knows a fair amount about sex offenders, but who knows next to nothing about personal construct theory. I hoped to learn some more about the former and to replace my ignorance of the latter with at least a basic understanding so I could perhaps have a reasonable discussion with my psychology colleagues about the area.
