Norway Huldra decom awards

Statoil has awarded Heerema Marine Contractors Nederland a contract to remove the Huldra plat- form offshore Norway and transport it to shore, while AF Offshore Decom has landed the deal for disposal and recycling of the platform. Huldra is a Statoil-operated gas and condensate field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and it lies northeast of Bergen. The field came onstream in November 2001 and on plateau the field pro- duced 10.3 Mcm/d (363.6 Mcf/d) of gas.
