Nigeria’s Otakikpo progress

Lekoil is making steps towards bring onstream the Otakikpo marginal field in Nigeria – with com- mercial output due this quarter. The Otakikpo-002 well flowed oil from two upper zones during two production tests on 10 April. The C5 zone flowed at a peak rate of 6,404 b/d of oil at a 36/64-inch choke while the C6 zone suc- cessfully flowed oil at a peak rate of 5,684 b/d at a 36/64-inch choke, for over 24 hours, Lekoil said.
