Statoil gets Rutil green light

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted the partners in Production Licence 050 (PL 050) consent to start-up the facilities on the Rutil deposit in the Gullfaks South field offshore Norway, and to start producing. Rutil is a gas structure on Statoil’s Gullfaks South field in the Tampen Area in the North Sea.
