Cameroon’s oil production rose 19.4% between January and April, compared with the same period a year ago, to 12.3m bbl, said state-owned National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SNH), with- out giving a reason for the higher outputs. The country has been producing oil since 1977, reaching a peak of 185,000 b/d in 1987 before declining, Reuters reported.
