AWE sells Kiwi Tui stake

AWE will sell its 57.5% stake in the Tui Area oil fields off New Zealand to Tamarind Management. The transaction is subject to customary consents from the New Zealand government and the Tui joint venture partners. Under the agreement, Tamarind will acquire all of the outstanding shares of AWE New Zealand and AWE Taranaki, which together own 57.5% of Tui, for US $1.5m.
