Leni buys into Cuba block

Leni Gas Cuba (LGC) has acquired an initial 5% stake in Cuban focused player Petro Australis Ltd. Petro Australis secured a 40% back in right to onshore Block 9 through MEO Australia in December 2014 when it made a deal with Cuba Petróleo Union (CUPET), which is now awaiting final regulatory approvals from the Cuban government, Leni said.
