Leni Gas Cuba has increased its stake in Cuban focused Petro Australis to 10.69% from 5%. “We plan to increase this shareholding further in the coming week. Petro Australis secured a 40% back in right to the 2,380sq km onshore Block 9 through MEO Australia in December 2014 when they announced their deal with Cuba Petróleo Union (CUPET), which is now awaiting final regulatory approvals from the Cuban government,” Leni said.
