Libya’s state-owned Arabian Gulf Oil Co (Agoco) is producing 317,000 b/d of oil, the highest level in two years. Libya now produces around 600,000 b/d of crude, less than half the 1.6m b/d it produced before the fall of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011. Several oil ports and major fields have been closed by fighting but the two biggest ports, Ras Lanuf and Es Sider with a combined capacity of 600,000 b/d, may open soon, officials said. Gas production was more than 56.7 MMcm/d (2 Bcf/d) last week.
