Libya's Agoco to Restart Output

Libya's Arabian Gulf Oil Co. (Agoco) will restart production from its Nafoura field, according to state National Oil Corp. (NOC), but the giant El-Sharara field remains shut, reducing the country's overall output to around 700,000-750,000 b/d. Protesters demanding jobs had forced a shutdown at Nafoura in October, NOC said. The 130,000 b/d Elephant field in the southwest, near El-Sharara, was due to restart on Nov. 19 after power outages were fixed, but testing has prevented a full restart. Agoco fields were producing a combined 65,000 b/d in October before Nafoura was shut, according to NOC.
