The Beatrice platform in the UK North Sea has been evacuated after a ship carrying radioactive material caught fire and began drifting in the Moray Firth offshore Scotland. The Parida vessel was transporting a cargo of concreted radioactive waste when a fire broke out in one of its two funnels.
