RWE’s Egypt plans

RWE Dea is preparing to start exploration work on the East Ras Budran Offshore Block off Egypt after signing a concession agreement. Germany’s RWE, which was awarded the 45sq km block in the Gulf of Suez last year, is committed to acquiring 3D seismic and drilling one wildcat under the three-year concession agreement signed with Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum.
