Max's Kazakhstan appraisal

London-listed Max Petroleum has spudded the UTS-8 appraisal well on the Uytas field on Block A in Kazakhstan. The UTS-8 well is being drilled to a total depth of 274ft (900m) and will target Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic reservoirs.
