Russia’s Gazprom is gearing up for first production from the Kirinskoye field in the Sakhalin 3 Block off Russia’s Far East within the next week. The Kirinskoye field lies 28km northeast of Sakhalin Island in the Sea of Okhotsk. The field is estimated to hold reserves of 5.65 Tcf (160 Bcm) of gas and 19m tonnes of gas condensate.
