Caracal spuds Chad wells

Canada’s Caracal Energy has kicked off a pair of wells in Chad, with another one planned for later in the year. Calgary-based Caracal spudded the Krim exploration well on 4 August southwest of the Mangara field development. The well, which is targeting Cretaceous-age C, D and E sands, will take between 40 and 45 days to drill.
