AGL eyes Queensland CBM

AGL Energy has restarted the Galilee pilot gas project at Glenaras in Queensland as it strives to firm up coalbed methane (CBM) reserves in Australia’s Galilee Basin. Commissioning work has started at the GA04 well, with water being pumped from the coal seams in the Betts Creek beds to the holding pond, said partner Galilee Energy.
