The Cambodian government is continuing talks with US player Chevron over the delayed offshore Block A project that would be the country’s first domestic oil and gas development. In August 2010, eight years after being awarded Block A, Chevron issued a declaration of commerciality and the following month applied for a petroleum production permit.
