Statoil’s Bressay to go it alone

Statoil has unveiled plans to develop the UK North Sea Bressay field as a stand-alone development. The Bressay development will include the installation of a new steel jacket production drilling quarter (PDQ) platform, a Floating Storage and Unit (FSU) and associated pipelines, and the drilling of 70 horizontal production wells.
