Chinese player Chzhunnen Oil Exploration has found oil in Kyrgyzstan, with the Central Asian country hoping to attract further exploration investment on the back of the success. Chzhunnen Oil Exploration said it had produced a test barrel from a well in southern Kyrgyzstan, according to reports. Further exploration work and test drilling will be needed before commercial production can start, said the company.
