BG has finished 3D and 2D seismic shoots over the L10A and L10B blocks offshore Kenya. The 3D survey was carried out in the eastern part of the blocks, while the 2D shoot was performed in the western part of the acreage. Partner Pancontinental Oil & Gas said the surveys covered 10 leads, which make up a fast-track exploration programme arranged by BG. Some of the leads were on-trend and similar to the huge Mbawa prospect, which lies to the north of Apache’s L8 block.
