Woodside hits Australia gas

Woodside Petroleum reports that its Xeres-1 exploration well in WA-34-L offshore Western Australia has intersected around 167ft (51m) of gross gas within the Triassic target. Xeres-1 lies around 12km southeast of the Pluto-1 discovery, also in WA-34-L in the Carnarvon Basin.
