Iraq deal for partners

Petrofac and joint venture partner China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC) has won a US $229m inspection, maintenance and repair contract for the Rumaila oil field in Southern Iraq from BP. The deal was awarded by BP Iraq via the Rumaila Operating Organisation. The three-year contract, which is worth more than $160m to Petrofac, will be led by its Offshore Projects & Operations business.
