Coastal Energy’s Bua Ban North B-06 well off-shore Thailand has reached a total depth of6,800ft (2,073m) and encountered 69ft (21m) of netpay with 28% porosity in the Miocene interval.Modular dynamic testing pressure analysis con-firmed that the well is in communication with theB-02 and B-04 wells and oil samples recoveredhave an API of 36°.The B-06 well also encountered 17ft (5m) of netpay with 22% porosity in the Eocene in the west-ern upthrown fault block, which has also beenreferred to as the Bua Ban North Terrace.
