SapuraCrest wins China deal

Malaysia’s SapuraCrest Petroleum has signed contracts worth US $227m for two “pipelay-cumheavylift” offshore construction vessels at Cosco’s Nantong shipyard in China. The deals were awarded from SapuraCrest subsidiary TL Offshore and were announced at the same time as SapuraCrest reported an increase in second quarter profit despite sales declining.
