ExxonMobil, BP and Imperial Oil have set up a joint venture to explore for oil and gas in their acreage in the Beaufort Sea in Canada’s Arctic. Under the deal, the companies will explore and potentially join forces to develop offshore blocks that they won in 2007 and 2008.
