Salamander’s Laos potential

Salamander Energy is drilling ahead with the Bang Nuoan-1 exploration well in the Savannakhet PSC in Laos. The well is being drilled by the MB Century 26 rig to a total depth of 11,155ft (3,400m) and log- ging has been completed. Gas shows were encountered in the secondary objective, which is the Triassic Kuchinarai sandstone between 6,628- 6,956ft (2,020-2,120).
