Testing begins on UK Lancaster

Hurricane Exploration has begun new tests on its West of Shetlands Lancaster discovery after reentering the well. The well in Block 205/21a is being drilled with the Borgsten Dolphin semisubmersible drilling rig, with AGR Petroleum Services providing well construction and project management services. Hurricane said it intends to production test the oilsaturated fractured basement reservoir with the objective of establishing reservoir properties and demonstrating the potential for commercial flow.
