Italy’s Eni has entered the Democratic Republic of Congo oil and gas sector by agreeing to buy a 55% stake of the Ndunda Block and take over as operator from UK-based Surestream Petroleum. The block is located in the Bassin C?tier along a scarcely explored onshore region of the Lower Congo Basin.
