Karoon Gas reports that the Poseidon-1 exploration well in WA-315-P offshore Western Australia has now successfully penetrated the top of the Middle Jurassic (Plover formation) reservoir interval at 15,736ft (4,796m)."To date, over a total Plover formation reservoir interval of 912ft (278m), three high net to gross sand intervals (high percentage of sand with low percentage of non reservoir shale) have been penetrated. These intervals have thicknesses of 33ft (10m), 220ft (67m) and 374ft+ (114m+)," said Karoon.
