Verenex finds fifth in Libya

Verenex Energy has confirmed its fifth oil discovery in Libya.The D1-47/02 well in Area 47 in the Ghadames Basin was a wildcat exploration well drilled to a depth of 9,720ft(2,963m).It tested at a maximum flow rate of 7,742 b/d of oil.The well is 5km northeast of the nearest well,B1-47/02,the second announced oil discovery.
