Oil production from the key Tawke field in the semiautonomous Kurdistan region of Iraq declined by 25% year-to-year during the third quarter to average just over 109,000 b/d, Norwegian operator DNO reported on Wednesday. Nearly all of the field's third-quarter production volumes were delivered for export through Turkey. DNO said it has completed three of four new production wells at its flagship Tawke field, under plans laid out in August with partner Anglo-Turkish Genel Energy, which will enable production growth in the second half of the year.
