Qatargas has signed a flexible sale and purchase agreement to supply LNG to Germany’s RWE, according to a statement released over the weekend. The Qatari producer will deliver up to 1.1 million tons of LNG per year to RWE's Supply and Trading (RWEST) in northwest Europe for a period of 7 1/2 years. The start date of the contract was not announced.
