摘要

The method uses pourable small-particle insulating material, to insulate hollow spaces, which have difficult access. A temperatur-dependant binding agent is added to the material, to dampen and harden it. Insulating material and binding agent are mixed homogenously before being blown into the hollow space. After this, the space is flushed with CO2- gas. The binding agent is blown onto the material by a machine (1), which is connected to the hollow space to be insulated. The machine has a mixer section (10) with cylindrical housing and central motor-driven mixer shaft with mixer blades. A spray nozzle (19) is located in the top of one housing end wall (18).
