Saudi Aramco on Friday confirmed reports it is looking at an initial public offering (IPO) of equity in the company as part of a reform and privatization drive in Saudi Arabia. The state behemoth said on its website it was exploring "a listing in the capital markets of an appropriate percentage of the company's shares and/or the listing of a bundle [of] its downstream subsidiaries."
