Russia's Rosneft announced on Tuesday that it has completed the purchase of a stake in a German refinery from France's Total. The acquisition is part of a larger amiable divorce settlement the Russian crude oil producer and refiner agreed with BP earlier this year. The $300 million-plus deal will see Rosneft take an additional 16.67% interest in PCK Raffinerie GmbH, the firm controlling the 230,000 b/d Schwedt refinery, raising its overall stake to 54.17% (IOD Jun.22'15).
