Eni to Update Lobito Refinery in Angola

Italian major Eni and Angolan state oil company Sonangol have cemented an agreement that should pave the way for an upgrade of the country's Lobito refinery, Eni has announced. Eni Chief Executive Claudio Descalzi and Sonangol Chairman Francisco da Lemos Maria met on Saturday in Luanda and agreed to "upgrade the current plans" for the refinery in Benguela, southern Angola, Eni said. The company declined to elaborate on the plans on Monday.
