Russia's Lukoil is positioning itself for a return to Iran as soon as sanctions allow, targeting the Anaran field it discovered with Norway's Statoil before being obliged to leave five years ago, Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov said in Houston. The company -- Russia's largest private oil firm -- is also eyeing new opportunities in Mexico, and has opened offices in both countries, he confirmed.
