Dragon to Delist on Sep. 7

Dragon Oil will delist from the London and Irish Stock Exchanges on Sep. 7 after a raised offer from Emirates National Oil Co. (Enoc) secured enough voting rights from shareholders to take over the company. Shares in Dragon Oil will stop trading on Sep. 4, the firm said Friday. Enoc raised its offer to 800 pence/share for the 46% of Dragon it doesn't already own from a previous 750 pence/share. The Dubai-based company received valid acceptances from 51.5% of independent Dragon shareholders (IOD Aug.4'15).
