First gas from Algeria's Reggane Nord project is due by summer 2017, says Germany's RWE Dea. The estimated $3 billion Reggane Nord scheme was supposed to deliver 8 MMcm/d of gas on stream for a 12-year period starting on Aug. 1, 2016, but delays have been blamed on the fallout from the In Amenas terrorist attack in January 2013 which halted work across the country (IOD Jan.18'13).
