Gas Leak Shuts Kashagan Output

A gas leakage near a treatment plant has brought production at Kazakhstan's giant Kashagan oil field to a halt just two weeks after it came on stream, according to local press reports. The Kazinform website said on Wednesday that production from the field in the north Caspian Sea would be stopped for at least for three to four days.
