India continues to buy oil from Iran even as it prepares for harsh new Western sanctions that could make importing Iranian crude considerably more challenging, India’s oil minister said Wednesday. “We continue to be optimistic. Iran continues to be positive. However, we have to be prepared for all eventualities,” Oil Minister S. Jaipal Reddy told reporters in New Delhi on Wednesday.
