Santos Wortel Ready to Go

The Santos-operated Wortel gas field offshore Indonesia’s Madura Island is set for first gas by the end of this month. Two wells, Wortel-3 and Wortel-4, were drilled and have now been “completed as future gas producers,” project partner Cue Energy said in a statement Thursday. Wortel is part of the Sampang production-sharing contract (PSC), which includes the Oyong and Jeruk discoveries.
