The head of Colombia’s oil agency, Ar-mando Zamora, has resigned after eightyears at the helm of a body that helpedboost the Andean country’s oil output tohistoric levels.In his resignation letter published onTuesday, Zamora said he was leaving topursue academe. However, local mediasaid the resignation had to do with ascandal involving payment of school feesfor his children.
