Spring Blooms in Barents

Norwegian independent Spring Energy has farmed in for a 20% interest in Noreco's production license 490 in a move to boost its upstream acreage in the Barents Sea. Spring said Noreco plans to drill a wildcat well on the combined Juksa-Snurrevad prospects in PL 490 in 2012, just northwest of the producing Snohvit field. Spring is now drilling two Barents Sea exploration wells targeting the Skalle prospect in PL438 and the Apollon prospect in PL377S. It also plans to participate in another three wells in the second half of this year.
